Obituary

Mrs. Louise Thigpen Kearson, 87, died suddenly Friday evening (November 16, 2007) at her residence.
She was a native of Wheeler County, but she has lived most of her life in Waycross. She was a homemaker, but she was also employed at Memorial Hospital as a licensed practical nurse for 34 years. She was a member of Hebardville Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Thigpen and Emma Lawrence Thigpen. She was the wife of the late Fred Thomas Kearson. She is also preceded in death by her son, Freddy Lamar Kearson; grandson, Johnny Kearson; sister, Eloise Thigpen Bennett; and a brother, A. J. Thigpen.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette Swain of Valdosta, and Lynda Moore (husband Charles) of Macon; four sons, William A. Kearson (wife Diane) of Lawrenceville, Larry Kearson of Waycross, Terry Kearson (wife Debbie) of Blackshear, and Morris Kearson (wife Pearl) of Waycross; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Kearson of O’Katie, SC; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday (November 20, 2007) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Mausoleum. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
